City data design

[2017 - 2019]

Stae is a software tool designed to help cities manage real-time data. As one of the first non-engineers to join Stae, my role was to make playful, non-technical ways to engage city workers at all levels. I was charged with creating the brand identity and approach to city engagement, as well as ensuring our product resonated with city managers and addressed their everyday needs. I developed the creative strategy and content for Stae.co and the City as a Service publication as well as other social channels and event experiences. I also created a process for user testing and research, introducing practices of ethnography, rapid prototyping, and iteration into the product development cycle.
